Author. Co-founder, Live Your Best Marriage.
Pesa Shayo is an author and co-founder of Live Your Best Marriage, a faith-rooted brand helping cross-cultural Christian couples stop surviving and start thriving.
Pesa and his wife Whitney have been married for 22 years across two different cultures. He knows firsthand what it feels like when in-laws, cultural expectations, and outside loyalties pull a husband and wife in opposite directions. He built the United Front in his own marriage before he had a name for it and spent years turning those lessons into a framework other couples could use.

Whitney Shayo’s 2015 Toastmaster Magazine story documents an early chapter in Pesa and Whitney Shayo’s marriage journey, including how communication, teamwork, and Wednesday date nights helped shape the work that later became Live Your Best Marriage.
Background
Pesa brings 23 years of healthcare experience as a nurse, a career built on staying calm under pressure, reading situations clearly, and making decisions that protect what matters most. He applies those same instincts to marriage coaching.
Pesa is the lead author of Questions for Couples, Questions for Diverse Couples, 52 Prayers for My Marriage, and Live Your Best Marriage. His writing is direct, practical, and rooted in lived experience not theory.
The United Front Blueprint
Pesa created The United Front Blueprint, a framework that helps cross-cultural couples stop letting outside pressure divide them. Instead of fighting each other, couples learn to face in-laws, cultural expectations, and loyalty conflicts as one unbreakable team.
The framework lives at United Front Marriage and is the foundation behind everything Pesa teaches, writes, and coaches.
Live Your Best Marriage
Live Your Best Marriage is the brand Pesa leads. Through the blog, books, and coaching, he helps cross-cultural Christian couples build stronger, more unified marriages with faith at the center and a clear plan for handling outside pressure.
